LisT - Before you go shopping

On the main screen, make sure ther "All" box is ticked, and select "Home" from the drop-down list of places. Go through the list, which will be sorted in the order of locations you keep things in at home, and tick any items you want.

If you want to record a quantity against an item, touch the space between the location letter and the item name. A pop-up keyboard will appear to enter the quantity (see Palm screenshot). You can then enter the tens and units of quantity with your stylus, or type the number if you have a keyboard. The quantity chosen will appear in the list. Entering 00 will make the quantity disappear again.

If you want to change the location of an item, touch the location letter with the stylus. A pop-up selector will then appear to choose the location (see Windows CE screen screenshot). You can then choose a location with the stylus (or by pressing the letter if you have a keyboard). Or you can press the Edit button to take you to the locations screen to change or reorder the locations. If reorganising locations, don't forget that you can drag and drop the location letters on the edit screen to reorder them.

If you have data left over from a previous shopping trip which you want to clear, you can use the bulk clear facilities - touch the word "LisT" at the top of the screen to see the menu, and choose the Bulk menu, which has options to uncheck all the items, to zero all the quantities (and to delete all the items in the list).

To add new items, press the New button. To edit or delete an item, select it and press the Edit button.
